Where is a good old Un-American Activities Committee when you need it? Of course, Congress shouldn't be involved in inquisitions or hearing of private citizens in the first place, but there should be some kind of social animus against this monstrosity.
Yes, it is un-American for the government to tell private citizens how much money they deserve. It makes me angry and a little nauseous. Is there any way back from this path we are on, short of violent revolution?
